The Centennial Pool is located at the Canada Summit Centre and features 3 pools:
- Large Pool - 25 meter, 6 lanes
- Small Pool - gradual levels and whirlpool jet
- Spa Pool - hot tub pool
Accessibility
The Centennial Pool provides accessible equipment for people of all abilities to participant in our programs
- Aquatic Chairs: Plastic waterproof chairs used to transfer people from the change room to the pool, and the pool to the change room. This prevents people from getting their own wheelchairs wet.
- Lift Chairs: A mechanical device that transfers people from the deck to the swimming pool, and the swimming pool to the deck
- Warm Water Pool: A single pool is kept as a designated Warm Pool with a temperature greater than 88 degrees. This can accommodate those with muscular, circulatory or neurological impairments requiring warmer temperatures.
- Accessible change room: includes an adjustable height change table and ceiling track lift
